I have some very exciting news to share regarding one of my own projects! Just this week, a collection of my poetry has been published as a chapbook through Bottlecap Press. It was a pleasure to work with them and I am so honored for the chance they’ve given me. My collection is available now in physical and PDF form here. I am so excited to get to share some of my best work with you all and hope you will check it out!

There will be a ‘hard-launch’ within the next few weeks once I get my hands on the physical copies, but I wanted to take the time to share with those of you who check out the blog and are some of my biggest supporters. It means the world to me!

Below is the cover and official description of the collection:

Internal Salvation speaks on the unique intersection between religion, identity, and relationships as a young adult. This collection tells the story of a college age girl who must deal with her conflicted feelings over her Mormon upbringing, a burgeoning queer identity that struggles to be labeled, and the often tumultuous reality of starting to date in college.

Any of these three factors are hard enough to handle on their own, but in reality, intersectionality is everywhere we look. We are never just one struggle. Internal Salvation focuses on this truth, and while it dwells on the journey of one individual, its message is universal. Self-discovery is an important and individual journey, but with each story told, we can find ways to relate to those we never thought we could. While not everyone checks the same boxes covered in this collection, the hope is that anyone can connect to the reality of concurrent struggles that prevent us from figuring out who we really are.

Wow. It feels so surreal as I’m writing this, knowing that years of poetry have come together and can now be read by people I’ve never even met before. I really do hope you’ll consider checking it out and sharing it around. This book, based on my experiences, is near and dear to my heart, but also is a story that many before me can relate to.

Stay tuned for the hard launch in the next couple of weeks on my social medias! I’m sure I’ll have a lot more to say then, once the shock of publication has worn down.

Thank you as always for your support!
